How do I book a ticket for my baby?
Babies under the age of 2 and from 8 days old travel on the lap of one of the parents or a person a aged 18 and over. They do not have their own seat on the airplane. Babies pay a flat rate for the airport settlement.
When booking your flight, enter the age of the baby on the day of return. If the baby turns two years old during the journey, the normal outward and return tariffs apply. The baby then has its own seat on the outward and return flights.
However, only child seats meeting the ECE R44-03 certification standard or higher with three-point belt and with label ‘For use in aircraft' are allowed.
