What if you wish to book a seat for a baby under 2 years old?

Extra seat for your baby

Your baby is younger than 2 years and you want to book a separate seat? You'll pay the full adult fare for this extra seat.

Car seat on board

Bring an approved car seat for your baby. This car seat must meet specific safety requirements.

Requirements for the car seat

Your car seat must meet these criteria:

  • Approval standard ECE R44-03 (European standard for Child Restraints) or higher, OR R129 also known as iSize
  • Orange label with this approval standard
  • Suitable for a three-point seatbelt
  • Label with the text 'For use in aircraft'

Please note: cradles and baby cots are not allowed in the cabin.
