Passengers with auditory and/or visual impairment
Persons with auditory and/or visual impairment are advised to communicate their impairment when booking a flight. Assistance is always provided free of charge, but is limited per flight.
Passengers can take an assistance dog or guide dog with them. It is advisable to reserve this when booking the flight, or by contacting us as soon as possible afterwards through this contact button.
These animals can always be transported in the cabin free of charge, but they may not occupy a separate seat. Persons accompanied by an assistance dog or guide dog will be assigned a first-row seat. In case of long-distance flights, the seat can be located in the first row where seats provide extra legroom. The dog must wear a harness from a recognised organisation to prove that it is an assistance dog or guide dog. (For more information, see 'Travelling with an assistance dog or guide dog')
Persons with both auditory and visual impairment are not allowed to travel alone, since they cannot understand the safety briefing without appropriate help.
